3.) EDEN BodyWorks Natural Curl Defining Creme

This has got to be the best product for curl definition. Imagine a 'wash n go' that only requires one product. Yes, I said ONE product. This creme is on the thicker side, which is why I believe it creates such a beautiful hold. This was one of the first products I purchased when I went natural and after the first use, I was hooked. My curls held their shape for days with no use for touch ups. Like I mentioned before, It is on the thicker side. A little goes a long way. 4.) Creme of Nature Argan Oil Foaming Mousse

Aside from the fact that this mousse smells AMAZING it is so versatile. This is also another one of my initial purchases upon going natural. It is a gentle foaming mousse made with Argan oil from Morocco. I use this mousse for a number of things: curl definition, moisture and most of all, setting my daughters protective styles. Not only does it offer that neat hold, it comes with a beautiful shine. This mousse is not the only amazing product this brand has to offer. There are many different products available on their site. 5.) Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil. The holy grail of all oils. It treats acne, athlete's foot, dermatitis and a number of other skin conditions. If I were to elaborate on all of the benefits of Tea tree oil this would surpass a 4 minute read. So let's just focus on hair. Tea tree oil offers many different anti-fungal properties and prevents the build-up of chemicals on the hair shafts. But my favorite property of all; dandruff treatment and prevention. If you are like me and suffer from a dry scalp, tea tree oil will change your life. Since using it my dry, itchy scalp days have been limited to say the very least. There are many different brands of Tea tree oil available for purchase, but the specific brand I use is Hollywood Beauty. It can be purchased at almost any beauty supply store. But if you are in need of a convenient purchase, it can also be purchased through Walmart's online store for only $2.78. This is for a 2 oz bottle. Keep in mind, a little goes a long way. The travel size is more than likely to suffice. As with any product or oil, do a patch test to ensure the absence of any allergies.
